At Brooklyn Minds, we strive to educate and share our work with our colleagues It is our belief that we cannot do it alone and by connecting with other individuals that share our vision, we can support the people that we work with even more! That is why we offer additional services for organizations and other mental health workers to improve overall care.
Our team specializes in a variety of different diagnoses and populations such as: borderline personality disorder, treatment resistant major depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, mood disorders, relationship issues, LGBTQ+, Kink, BDSM, non-traditional relationships, and more. For this reason we offer supervision for organizations, individuals, and teams.
Some cases can be more difficult to navigate than others, which is why we offer case consultations for other providers that may have trouble reaching certain patients. We utilize the AMBIT (Adaptive Mentalization Based Integrative Treatment) within our own team, which we find helps us think together about what might be best for our patients.
We are trained in a variety of different modalities. We specialize in Mentalization-Based Treatment and are happy to help you integrate this treatment into your own practice. Additionally, we help support other dTMS practices navigate different protocols and insurance issues. As part of the Brooklyn Minds vision, we allow our team members to attend trainings they might be interested in and feel would be useful for our work!
We have learned it is important to inform, advocate and support our community. Several of our providers have spoken or taught at different organizations and events, which allows us to share what we have learned, teach skills, and answer questions.
The Brooklyn Minds Team enjoys teaching and helping those who are aspiring clinicians. We have worked with many universities in supporting their budding practitioners in various licenses. In alliance with AMBIT, we function best as a team learning from one another. Therefore, we aspire to make everyone feel equal.
