Sarah graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University. She is a creative communicator and an advocate for the natural collaboration between science and the arts. Sarah is currently a graduate student in ethology.
Natasha received her Bachelor of Science degree in Arts Administration at Wagner College and initially began her career in the music/marketing field.It is her belief that strong mental health and well-being should be prioritized above all else. She has been a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters NYC for the past 2 years and plans to eventually return to school to pursue a Master's Degree in Psychology.
Leah is working towards completing her Masters in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Having also received her BA in Forensic Psychology, she is excited to be working towards ensuring that those in need are able to receive adequate mental health services and raising awareness to decrease the stigmas associated with mental illness.
Casey enjoys helping individuals in a multitude of ways and has been part of the team at Brooklyn Minds since March of 2017. Mental health awareness is a very important part of her life’s journey. Casey enjoys being a supportive presence on our team.
Anda Esteron is a neuroscience student in the interdisciplinary honors program at Hunter College in NYC. She is minoring in German and linguistics, enhancing to her natural ability to understand how a patient express themselves.
Robin uses her creativity and sensitivity as a force for good in all areas of her life. She lives in Brooklyn with her cat/familiar, Shmoo.
Uyen is a professional quirkster and low-key improv comedian. She enjoys making art when her unimpressed yorkie isn’t around to make comments. The two are in an indie band called “The Kitchen Set” using kitchenware. They have yet to be discovered.
If Darth Vader and Morticia Addams had a Swedish goth child, it would be Helena. Her favorite color is, unsurprisingly, black.
Jacqueline is currently studying Sexuality & Gender through the CUNY Baccalaureate School of Unique & Interdisciplinary Studies and plans to begin graduate studies in social work in Fall 2019. Jacqueline volunteers at Bellevue Hospital as a Rape Crisis Counselor and Victim Advocate. She is also a student of aerial arts and a devoted pitbull mom.
