Doug is pleased to be the Chief Operating Officer of Brooklyn Minds, helping the incredible team of clinicians and business members to significantly scale the company and most importantly to make a significant and lasting impact on the way in which patients with more complex mental health conditions can receive and benefit from outstanding clinical care and compassion. Doug Lehrman is passionate about developing disruptive solutions to the healthcare system. He has twenty-five years of experience founding, building and operationally developing all aspects of healthcare and wellness companies. In addition to his professional experience Doug has also been deeply involved in caregiving for a family member with chronic mental health complexities. As COO Doug’s role includes aligning the long term strategy with daily oversight of the operational components of the business to achieve operational and financial excellence and to partner with his colleagues to scale the business internally and externally with multiple constituents across the healthcare ecosystem.
Doug Lehrman’s most recent role was as the founder and CEO of Junction Health Partners, a healthcare strategy and innovation firm. He is presently on the Board of PhysicianOne Urgent Care, the largest urgent care business in Connecticut where he has been involved for six years, and InShape Health Clubs, a 65 unit health club business in California. Doug has also been involved in founding CRC Health Group, which grew from serving two states to become, at one point, the largest residential chemical dependency business, serving 26 states in the US, and Prospira PainCare, an integrated pain management service for acute and chronic pain, which has grown to over 30 clinics today. Doug has a BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business.
