Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

People with ADHD are frequently thought of as impulsive people who have difficulty keeping attention, whereas, more often than not ADHD is really a disorder involving difficulty changing attention.  This often looks like difficulty with prioritizing tasks and difficulty keeping commitments. Here at Brooklyn Minds we recognizing that medication helps but so is the dosage and psychotherapy can often help people get the rest of the way.
